THE THREE QUESTIONS
What is your dream for the world?
Right now I see a world where people are trying to control others through intimidation or coercion because they want to have people to meet their standards. So my dream is that people start looking inwards so that people start to meet God’s standards. My dream is that pride be replaced with humility and love.
When did you know that God loves you?
I’ve always known that – I don’t remember a time when I didn’t, but he was a God that was kind of out there. And so throughout my life and the experiences I’ve had I’ve been able to search for and find a God who is out there, but also with me and in me and working through me.
When did you know that God loves you, no exceptions?
I intuitively felt that and have known that. I have people with mental disabilities in my family, people who are on the fringes of society. I’ve always had a heart for that. The struggle was always I felt that, but I didn’t always see that happening in the church. But I’m glad that at this point in history, the church is standing up and speaking out for people.
